Parker's First Haircut: The Blog

As we approached Parker's First Birthday
 Rave  Extravaganza Fiesta   National Holiday
Party I carefully asked my daughter if we could
PLEASE get his hair trimmed.
She was going for the "I AM NEVER CUTTING
MY BABY'S HAIR NO MATTER HOW
'DUCK DYNASTY' HE LOOKS" Look.
  And she agreed (YAY!!)
So the five of us (Parker, Mommy, Grandma, Great Aunt Caca and Auntie Becca) headed over to Fun Clips.

I googled "Childrens Hair Cutting Places in Lancaster" and they popped up.  I had never heard of them but they were awesome!  They specialize in little kids and I highly
recommend their service.  (Commercial Message:
They are at the corner of 30th St West and Ave L
Only $13.00 for his cut. It was a great experience!)
He is wearing a shirt that says:
"Don't Scare Me I Poop Easily"
Here is the before shot---

He got to sit in a little Truck and watch "Cars"
The gal did a super job while he twisted and squirmed around
No one lost an eye, which was great.
They were patient while all of us took pictures.. and video.. and acted like this was the most exciting thing we had ever done.
When she was all done she gathered up all the hair and put it in a little plastic bag and gave him his First Haircut Certificate.

TAH DAH!!!!!

Thank god he's embracing his natural hair line. That comb-over look was a little embarrassing.
