Geeez Groupies~
I am VERY EXCITED to tell you about a new development in my life! My blog was just listed in the Featured Blog Directory for the March issue of Serious.Life Magazine
Now we writers, of all dispositions, just love to have our say. We have this urge to voice whatever is going on in our heads. We assume that you all REALLY NEED TO KNOW THESE THINGS!
Well, that may or may not be true in my case, but you gotta check out this magazine. This magazine is owned and published by the Riggs family--- that is Abby's family whom we have been praying for lately! (The little sweetheart with Leukemia).
Now once you take a look at this publication you will see that this isn't some blog hobby like some of us play around with, this is a really awesome magazine. Very high quality graphics. Lots of great content by bloggers all over the country. Terrific photography. Really inspiring articles about family life and finance and spiritual growth. There is a lot of content on adoption, which you know is a biggie for me! And it is really funny in places too! This magazine gives away ads to all kinds of charities and ministries. And I love Brent's personal writings about his outlook on life and our personal relationships with God. He is awesome. Not all perfecto Christian guy--- solid, real, biblical stuff! And it won't cost you a cent!! It is totally free!!
So here is a link to the Riggs family's personal blog where you can get updates on how Abby is doing among other great things: www.riggsfamilyblog.com
And here is a link to Serious.Life Magazine Again, the subscription is FREE, and I know you’ll enjoy the magazine, so take a minute to check it out and sign up to get future issues. www.seriouslifemagazine.com ( I have been getting their stuff for awhile now and I haven't gotten any weird emails or anything that would make me regret making this recommendation.)
My blog directory entry is on page 173. Yeah there are like 191 pages in this thing! And there are lots of pages full of listings for all kinds of amazing blogs.
I know the blog thing is new for me and I have totally gotten swept up in it, but I gotta tell you I have read the blogs of so many amazing people who are real, imperfect, silly and sad. Who struggle with their lives-- and sometimes they are elevated to great things and we all celebrate and sometimes we all grieve together too. They are funny and inspirational and thought provoking. I have learned new skills like photography and sheep shearing! I have gotten TONS of information about my new homeschooling situation with links to all kinds of support and curriculum. Movie and TV reviews by real people like me. Recipes. Fashion tips! There are even a couple of Texas ladies who podcast occasionally that really make me lol for reals!
Seriously, dudes, check it out. Okay??

LeAnn,
As a new blogger I am not sure how this is done. Do I respond to you here, on your blog? Or on my blog? ANYWAY...
About Compassion - did you have the email problems with this organization? Mentioning God, faith, and such? ~ Becky
