Geeez Goes Paparazzi

It started off a day like any other day. I was at work. Lauren was at home where she was focused on her Independent Study schooling. I keep a laptop on her work desk so we can communicate URGENT things during the day via IM. Join me as we sit in on a recent IM session. She is in blue. I am in red. I have edited about 3 hours worth of on and off discussion, begging and whining..... Some of it was even her. I did not edit for spelling or grammar. Note the excellent usage of my blog addiction to finagle what the kid wants. Points for manipulation there... even if I did catch on.... (How come this blog rearranges itself??? It drives me crazy!)

MOM!! guess what!!!!!!!!! TOKIO HOTEL IS IN LA!!!!!!!!! recording acouple of songs!!!!
Cool when i was talking about them they were actually near me!!!! don't dance around it, if you want to ask me something then ask it can we go to Santa Monica tmw? what is in santa monica TH and the beach and that pier thing Okay so you want to go down to the studio and hang around? no i wanna go to that beach i remember my dad took me there once and omg it was epic TH is only a side destraction lol u can take piccas for ur blog and dude hello good blog story! I am going to think about it. You focus on schooling. IF I do it, you have to let me take as many pictures as I want to Fine you probably can't get inside-- if all you could do was take a picture at the building would you still want to go? ya i still want to go to the studio it’s the fact that TH is in there right then! only a few feet away lol not a country hey i was wondering with my money if i can get fake nails OMG not the fake nail thing again. And please tell me you don't think you need to do it tonight yes i do think i need to do it tonight cuz also my eyebrows are eww!!!! I am gonna kill myself please? well?(I can't answer you-- I am dead) cute please? with apicca of the Kaulitz twins on top! Grrrrrrrr You don't want me to have my own life at all do you? ya i know I have to say you are lucky you are catching me in a good mood--- I have been very proud of how hard you are working and the grades you have been getting and how responsible you have been. (dont push it and ask for something else, okay) lol ok All you will probably see is a building you know so! its the point that TH is in THAT building! I know I know

So, the next morning we get in the car and begin the 75 mile trek to Santa Monica (Basically Los Angeles for all you tourists out there) And we find the building. It houses many important music studios. But the one we were interested in was Interscope Records. It was totally next to Geffin Records! TOTALLY!!
So, no one was around since it was
Saturday (duh) but just in case
someone important was in there
somewhere, the girls quietly looked
in the window of the reception area.

SUDDENLY, OUT OF NOWHERE! An armed (well, he had arms) GESTAPO (er, I mean security guard) ran at them SHRIEKING to GET AWAY FROM THE DOORS!!
And then he came at me! Smoke came out of his ears! My heart was pounding! He grabbed my very expensive Samsung Digital camera and RIPPED THE ROLL OF FILM RIGHT OUT OF IT! REALLY!!! And then he knocked me to the ground and kicked me over and over and over...

It was horrifying! The Trauma!!!

Okay, that may be a slight exaggeration. Actually, once I saw him getting after the girls I did what any good mother of teenagers would do... I put my camera in my purse and started to stroll away... Keeping my eye on what would happen next.
Which was.......................... We totally got in the car and drove to the Santa Monica Pier!!
Where the girls rode rides at Pacific Park and I sat and did my
homework, like the good college student I am. I may possibly
also watched some handsome young men play beach volleyball.

I enjoyed the lovely spring day
and thought of all of you who are
dealing with snow right now and
how sad you must be....

Then we had a lovely lunch together and got back in the
car for the exciting ride home. Of course the girls fell asleep
right away. I don't want to put them
down but there was a lot of drooling
and snoring.... and that was just me.
They both rode in the back seat so
they could pretend I was the hired
chaffeur...... And I took these pics
hanging my camera upside down behind my head. Maybe some time I will show you the pictures I took
in the rear view mirror.....
